Original Painting 'Create Something' on Watercolour Paper

This is an original mixed media painting on beautiful recycled watercolour paper.
 
'Create Something' 
This began as a doodle, one evening. I was exhausted. Just put my son in to bed and flopped on to the sofa. Without thinking, I picked up my phone and started scrolling on Pinterest, mindlessly. Something stopped me. A little thought 'put the phone down'. So in that moment I did and I reached for my sketch book instead. I began drawing and this image came out. This woman, this creative, deep thinking woman, full of inspiration, but lost in this mindless scrolling that so many of us do. This is our time. Our lives. We are spending it scrolling like zombies!  For what?  It felt so much better to create something. So much more fulfilling, wholesome, real. I kept the original sketch for my own art journal as I deeply connected with it and then I recreated it on this watercolour card.
