Original Wildflower Painting on upcycled Plywood 'Grow Wildflowers'
  • Original Wildflower Painting on upcycled Plywood 'Grow Wildflowers'

I painted this piece to show the importance of growing wildflowers to help our pollinators, such as bees and butterflies, thrive.

“About 35 percent of the world’s food crops need insects to pollinate them. The loss of pollinating insects could threaten our food supply. That’s why we put in so much effort to encourage the native wildflowers to flourish to support our pollinators. Everyone can do their bit to help by planting some wildflowers in their garden.” National Trust

I have painted this on to upcycled plywood using eco paints and acrylic.  The eco paints I use are virtually VOC free which is great for the environment plus all paints I use are free from animal products.

The painting is signed with my initials on the front and my full name and date on the back.

The painting has a twine string attached so that it can easily hang on a wall.

    The painting size:

    18.7x 17.6x 0.4 cm

🌼 I collect unwanted  plywood from people who have no use for it and want to throw it out. Instead of letting it head to landfill, I up-cycle it in to compassionate artwork!
