Self- Love and Wellbeing Art work
I have started to create a series of artwork to shine a light on the importance of self- love and self-care. Mental health is a subject that many people feel uncomfortable talking about. My aim is to encourage people to speak more openly and honestly about their struggles so that we can start to view these struggles as part of being human and not something to be ashamed of. As someone who has carried high levels of anxiety around with me my whole life, wellbeing practices and therapies such as meditation, yoga, gratitude and CBT have eased my mind in to a more positive space and helped me manage the lows. I want to use my art work to express my deep gratitude towards these incredible, life changing practices! My collection, so far, is small but packed full of heart and soul.
