An original painting on part recycled FSC certified watercolour paper using watercolour paints. With sparkly sequin detail for a touch of magic. I get all of my sequins and sparkly things second hand, from charity shops to keep my artwork as environmentally friendly as possible.

‘We Are Nature’
A reminder that humans are not above, we are not separate to. We ARE. We are part of nature. We are animals living on Earth among other animals and plants. Modern life can create a barrier to this connection. So many of us, not only forget that we are just animals, but we don't connect to the Earth. We are so removed from this basic human need to feel the soil on our hands and feet, to connect to energy and life in the trees and plants and creatures around us. When did we forget? Why do we talk of nature and animals as something external- something 'out there', something to 'visit'. It saddens me. So I created this piece as a reminder that 'we ARE nature'.
