Original Vegan Painting on A4 Reclaimed Hardboard

This is an original painting on A4 reclaimed hardboard. It is ready to hang on the wall and requires no frame.

THE MATERIALS
I have used a mix of water based, vegan and eco friendly paints to create this piece. I find unwanted hardboard leftover from people's DIY projects and turn it in to artwork to save it from heading to landfill. 

THE INSPIRATION
Rabbits are one of the most exploited animals. Their fur is used for fashion and accessories, they are bred for meat, they are tested on in laboratories and wild rabbits are hunted. Even pet rabbits are often mis treated, kept in small outdoor cages with little love or engagement. My hope is for a kinder world for these beautiful animals and other animals who have no freedom and little respect. I have 2 wonderful rescue rabbits and, as I type this, they are sat in the living room with me, snuggled up together, sun bathing in the small ray of light that has burst through the window on this cold winter day. They are such gentle, loving animals with different personalities and quirks! 

THE PACKAGING
This piece will be sent in plastic free packaging. Please keep the cardboard packaging to re use, or be sure to recycle it.
